bedford park window transformation

March 16, 2012

Located in the Bedford Park area of Toronto (Lawrence Avenue and Avenue Road), this 80’s detached brick home was showing its age. The new owners had a more contemporary look in mind. With Patrick’s help (MBKL Ltd. (416) 836-7295), we updated the facade. Patrick removed the brick arch and finished the opening with matching brick. We took care of the interior structural work before installing the new high efficiency vinyl windows.

The finished product is a stunning contemporary Toronto home. The black vinyl casement windows are a great contrast to the orange brick. You would never know this was formerly an arched window. The homeowners painted their doors to match the black windows. The new windows feature a large fixed window with a casement window beside it and transoms above.

The finished product really is a superb piece of contemporary window structure. Also the contrasting look of the black vinyl window casement looks very impressive. Thanks for sharing this post with us!
